On Tuesday 11th September, Year 4 (Colfer Class) and Year 6 (Morpurgo and Pullman Classes) were lucky enough to welcome Hannah and Angela from Atkins Global – an international engineering company.  Children learnt about what an engineer does, different types of engineering and how to become one later in life.

Year 4 went on the participate in a structural engineering workshop where they had limited resources to fulfill the brief of moving a marble!  Everyone worked in teams to meet the deadline and complete the task.  Some of our photos are below and our models are in the Science classroom on the top floor, if you want to come and have a look.
